@LinuxLounge While I don't necessarily disagree with this particular advice, giving parenting advice can be... controversial. People tend to be rather reactionary about anything they percieve as attacking their parenting style. Go easy?

@mike It really depends. Did they learn something useful in their 10 complicated steps?Maybe a good topic for standups or 1:1s. How quickly to ping for help? Depending on deadlines, spending some additional time can work out fine if it's a learning experience, but if there are tight deadlines, you need to cut to the chase and get things done.

@Gina @kev I guess there is that. At least a glass straw isn't going to actively suck all the heat out like a metal straw would. And yes, it must have been difficult going without coffee for awhile.

@mike and yet, the chances of this actually being an innovation instead of a standard use case for AI/ML? Probably still cool to solve the problem this way, and it probably looks novel to a C level exec, but this is possibly a case of a non-innovation. Or maybe I'm just overly skeptical of AI/ML claims.

@mike I was curious. I assumed it was a Rick roll, because that's what about 90% of all QR codes are used for. Tried two different apps to decode the PNG which failed to detect anything. Used a webpage to decode and saw the url wasn't immediately linking to YouTube, so was not immediately a Rick roll. It was still possible it would be an embedded video, but seemed less likely.

@grammargirl I've made an active choice to restrict myself from using twitter, all because of Elon. He's disabled what few protections there were, and riled up his mob by actively promoting nonsense. I'm disgusted by what he has done to the platform.
