@realcaseyrollins @duncan_lithgow @stux My part in the conversation has been, from the start, about the benefits moderation of speech (aka censorship). And if free speech doesn't add anything meaningful to society, what good is it? The fact that you don't seem to understand the connection is deeply troubling. As is the way you casually name drop Hitler, which is the kind of thing a teenager would do when they've run out of compelling arguments.

... I just finished the script for my first YouTube video. I filmed some test footage that will almost certainly NEVER see the light of day, and now I think I'm ready to film the real thing. I'm finally stepping, toes first, into content creation.And it only took me twenty years.

@brosandprose I remember my brother and I having our share of squabbles and exchanges as kids, but after a certain point, that all stopped. We never fought as teens, never physically. Can't imagine having that sort of confrontation with him.

@brosandprose I want to be really judgy but I also I vividly remember how I felt when I tested positive for Covid and my wife had to talk me out of trying to work the first day because I was afraid of losing income. I'm glad that I did the right thing but the temptation not to was incredibly strong, and I'm sure at least some of the people who did this were in the same boat. More robust time off/sick time policies would have made it a no brainer for me.
