Apparently, we've been fediblocked by mastodonapp.uk for "Lack of moderation & Hate Speech".I contacted the admin a few days back from my alt on a more "respectable" instance, and have explained to him how this seems to be a mistake and how we take abuse very seriously.Since they find it okay to put a false claim in public and wouldn't reply to private messages, I am in turn putting things in public for the record. I see that my instance has been blocked for "Lack of moderation & Hate Speech"I'd like to know about the lack of moderation that you've found. Currently there are barely 4 people posting on the instance (including myself), and all we do is post astrology, witch stuff, amateur photography, and spooky art. Of these 4 people, two are from LGBT/PoC communities.There has been harassment against our user <name redacted> from a rather shitty instance, but I had the message deleted, and the instance defederated within minutes, not hours or days. @charlie_root@decayable.ink I get the financial perspective and agree with it. The freebies don't last forever.What I'm concerned with is navigating the purposefully obtuse legalese. If they don't consider this personal use, then Pro pricing will probably drive me out to some other OS.OR I can hope that nobody exploits the open vulnerabilities on my server :kys_thonk:

Hi #fediblock , I am Malakai, admin of the.occultist.space . Everything you've seen on the tag is true, and I've said and done shitty things.I have another server that is "free speech". Barely any defeds except for illegal/CP/loli stuff. I created it to separate the asshole side of me and this side, though I know that ship has sailed, and I have nobody else to blame.This one was free speech as well, but I am changing this to a safe space for people of all communities. Any reports are swiftly taken care of, my users will vouch for this. No shittiness will come in this server and none will be given out.I know the response will be "once a bigot, always a bigot" and "you're just pretending to be nice so that we defed this server." That's a perfectly reasonable position imo. Those are the consequences of my words and actions.Let me know by DM or reports any offending posts on this server. I have received some and will be taking care of them today.
