@sponsorblock while I don't interact with people and can't say anything about moderation / admins, I do find some of the segments posted ridiculous - muting 2-3 second bits that mention the name of the software being used, or the brand of some tool (I remember a vid where someone was reviewing some tool cnc mill or laser cutter, don't remember, and said <brand> did a good job with the software - the brand name was muted); it's especially jarring to have to thumbs down 10-12 such segments, out of usually n+1 or n+2 total, just to be able to understand the contentthe review suggests that might be in order to game the system by flooding it with segments and advance on a leaderboard, which I find plausible (I simply assumed someone who has similar content tastes with me is, well, mentally ill and has a lot of time on their hands)as far as I understood it, sponsorblock was meant to allow skipping long shilling segments that are usually disconnected from the subject of the video and also irrelevant for watchers outside of the creator's country (usually the US on stuff I tend to watch), not obsessively removing all mentions of things from a video, regardless of context...

@wolf480pl @naruciakk the difference in service is getting thin these days, and it's the normal carriers that are getting worse - during my last flight with Swiss they only gave us water and everything else had, well, Swiss prices; KLM is a little better, but not by much; prices are similar and have gone up drastically for all EU destinations lately (probably the green insanity), some want to charge you for checked luggage (and then complain the airplane is full and offer to store your cabin luggage in the cargo bay "for free" - fuck off, if I have a bag in the cabin it means I either have things that can break in it, or I am on a tight schedule)The only major difference is that I expect the normal carrier to not cancel the flight without notice, like wizz did the last time I used them; this kinda counts, a lot...

@tomjennings I've found OSMAnd to be perfectly adequate for almost all navigation needs, and I find the UI easier to parse than the google maps my wife insists on using (google's thing fills the map with dots indicating alternate routes and makes it really hard to know which way you're looking, it tends to be backwards for some reason).Things that OSMAnd doesn't do well: search is annoying in places that don't use the latin alphabet (like South Korea, where latinization of names can be off, but google doesn't do great there either, that's why naver maps is still standing despite it being utter crap overall), and navigation underground (google does some sort of magic to figure that out).

@BroDrillard I like the style, but the american things called "IPA" that make it to Europe (or Asia) tend to give me a headache halfway into the second bottle, it's like they front load the hangover; the other extra hoppy ales I've had (British / Belgian / Dutch / Estonian / Romanian / Japanese / Korean) were fine, especially the hazy kind; they're not overly bitter either.(Bri'ish ones do tend to be hit and miss, but even the dry bitter ones don't cause a headache 30 minutes later)
