if you've never heard of it, I use pep, it's a very capable email client that also has a special trick. All emails between users of pep are automatically encrypted no matter which provider you use:) There is also a plugin for thunderbird on desktop

@normand@ericbuijs not sure if you saw this from our previous conversation but I found that thanks to the #libretube android app, I can finally sync my subs between desktop and mobile since it uses piped.kavin.rocks as it's host

I agree, there is nothing to do for the masses that don't want to be "saved".IMHO the best we can do is make ourselves an alternative here. Twitter/big social is commerce/pop culture the #fediverse is for community and connection. It attracts completely different types of people.

The great thing about #deltachat is that it already uses the largest federated platform on the planet, email :) When users are both using the client conversations are automatically encrypted, and when they're not, you can still send messages to regular emails:)Just posting this here for others that may be following this conversation delta.chat/en/Regardless, great choice working with XMPP and all the best!

I LOVE IT SO MUCH how you've fully embraced #peertube !!!!
