So, if you connect your computer to the internet while installing Windows 10 that thing will force you to use a Microsoft account and not allow you to create a local user.

@gamey Before you arrive to the user creation part during the installation you are prompted to connect to a network. If you do connect to a network the option to go forth with a local account isn't available any more and you are required to either log in to your MS account or make a new one. Unless I really overlooked it

Seeing gamers defend Microsoft's acquisition of Blizzard Activision is making my brain spasm as to how much intellectual gymnastics you can do to ignore that Microsoft is a company too big to be regulated, that spends billions of dollars every year in lobbying (and bribes) to maintain this status quo and shouldn't be trusted to expand any wider nor into any new industry.

Fediverse, give me a good reason to not go out and buy a Macbook. And if you can't, let me know if I should either go for the pro with 8GB of RAM and 512GB SSD or the air with 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD.
