@mdhughes Yeah, I probably need to invest in a timer habit. With my probable ADHD, "when I feel like it" turns into "next week when my boss actually calls me on the phone and wonders where I've been on chat because I fixated on other things and forgot chat was a thing"

Still tinkering with a game that involves hacking mechanics. So I grabbed the big CSV list from CVE of software vulnerabilities since 1999 and fed the descriptions to a Markov chain generator.Thought that might help gin up flavor text for in-game exploits. The generated strings are chock-full of company and brand names, which might be problematic.

An idea i just rambled out: a radiation exposure badge except for social contact. Ambient chatter and pushing a button to register each person interacted with makes it shade to black, at which point a silkwood shower and a good sulk in solitude is prescribed until it decays back to white

I wonder if kids playing RPGs these days think fishing will playe a large role in their adult lives like I thought quicksand would end up being a common danger in mine?

Just got my first pair of noise cancelling headphones ever. I am afraid that I will never want to take them off.My wife also wants a pair. I kind of want us to be able to just talk to each other like we're in a helicopter and not hear anything else.

Got some spare Android phones laying around and figured out how to use them as cameras in OBS for streaming, so that opens up some weird possibilities.

This is a spot on my desk that can reflect a lot of glare in late summer afternoon. Catsby is helping by absorbing most of it. #cats
