Just had the opposite of that pinball game I had the other day where I had a gr4eat first ball and crap all the rest.This time I had 2 shit balls that drained almost straight away, thought "oh well I'll still play the last one out for the practice" and got 10 million and a bunch of extra balls off it for my best score on that table.Pinball eh? 🐂

it's weird looking at all these toasters. So many of them have so many pointless "functions" you'll never use.I swear if someone launched a model that featured "deep slots" and just had reliable basic toasting ability they'd sell loads, because what most people want is nicely done toast without the top of the bread peeping out the top of the toaster.BIG ENOUGH FOR BREAD. That's all the marketing they'd need.But nobody does it.Weird.

@foone didn't everyone just used to read bits of ROM for RNG back in the 8-bit days?Nobody would notice in your daft Vic 20 game that the RNG was skewed towards 6502 opcodes so it was perfectly good enough!

I hate how hard it is to use bank cards these days. I go to get some cash out the hotel ATM and it's DECLINED and FRAUD ALERT. And even when I reply to the text saying it's me and they say it should now work it's still DECLINED. FFS.This AFTER I used the same card to book up hotels etc for what is obviously a US trip.I swear it didn't used to be this much of a pain in the arse.

@paradroyd it was the same thing when I bought a car earlier this year. I had to do so much "this is not fraud" dancing just to spend money that was unequivocally in my account it was exhausting. Fucking hate all this. Just more fucking enshittification.
