Yeah, I've already stopped watching Switched to Linux, and I'll never watch him again. I'll just find other peoples' tutorials instead. It's just that he's another culture warrior. Yeah, his advocacy for Linux is important, but he's also stated some really batshit insane opinions (typically found in his Banned News videos outside Youtube, but can also bleed into other videos).

The sheer amount of shitty drama the platform produced was unreal, where people specifically knew it as an app for drama. There's no other place with as many unjustified dogpiles, and I mean it. That's why I joined the Fedi before Elon's buyout. It was a nice and relatively peaceful way to initiate public conversation (and that's what people use microblogging sites for, not to make shitty sound bites which Twitter was initially made as). That's also why Elon didn't do shit with Twitter. He didn't reduce the power of the algorithm that was designed to provoke the users. He didn't make the platform better for public conversation through higher character limits and the including quote posts in regular threads. No, he just shilled a shitty subscription service and let the shitlord culture warriors be more awful than the whiny rich kids who don't actually understand leftism. Honestly, Twitter was just a mistake in general, and I'm glad to see that we're moving on.

It would be cool if I could use my PC outside my desk without it being so bothersome. Trackpads are also cool. They'll stay in one place, unlike a mouse where controlling the cursor requires moving it constantly.

Rightoids have overused it when dunking on milktoast Twatter addicts or fucking over innocent people, so I'm kind of sick of the whole schtick now. TL;DR: The wonders of the free market meant that people can only afford to live in literal fucking cages. I'm unsure how I feel about China's relationship with Hong Kong (mainly because I'm not too informed of that), but you have to admit that the current leadership is also fucking horrible, at least just because of that. Housing shouldn't have to be such a struggle.
