       @aethylred when I think about it, it's absurd that the main vectors the NZ gov't uses to communicate to the people of Aotearoa NZ are foreign-owned, standards-eschewing, tax dodging, regulatory non-compliant, profit-motivated advertising platforms with surveillance capitalism business models. I think NZ needs to drop #Facebook just like the world's dropping #Twitter.

       Heh heh - looks like old Sami Juvonen doesn't like getting his ass handed to him in a battle of wits. @sjuvonen  - nice try at the website DDOS... Is he a friend of yours @thomasfuchs ? He doesn't take gentle criticism of his confrontational style very gracefully.

We need those motorists who, stupidly & inconsiderately, think it's ok to use their phone (e.g. to send txts, view social media) while driving  to be scared. I think it shouldn't be a $ fine, it should be confiscation of their either phone or their car for a day or a week (for repeat infringements). Their choice.
