I changed the logo of my Synergetic Design page. I was not happy with the previous ones but now I am quite satisfied. I did it with #Inkscape.#design #synergeticdesign

The last updates of #Inkscape almost doubled my productivity with it. I am really impressed by how good this software is becoming!I had a similar feeling with #Blender a while ago. Those are excellent examples of truly awesome #freesoftware.

Today, I walked the length and breadth of a media library to find out why I felt an unpleasant sense of oppression as soon as I entered.As it happens, the #design of the place is particularly ugly and unstructured. There's no regular, symmetrical or even simple #geometry. The angles give a permanent impression of disorder. You can see that its #architecture consists of a heap of nonsensical concepts whose materialization is excessively stylized, with the help of a lot of raw concrete.

Even the stairs are askew and it reminds me some cases of health and psychological issues whose main cause appeared to be, against all expectations, the terrible design of the buildings where the people who suffered from these issues lived or worked.

@progo Hilarious:- first based in Cyprus, now Israel,- owners involved in cybersurveillance (https://newstracs.com/new-erik-prince-business-venture-unplugged-systems-ownership-chart/2022/07/29/)- privacy policy literally says that their servers had access to most of user's data (with e2e encryption made on the server, lmao) and that some of them are sold to third parties for any possible reason,- security report is a one page pdf made by an accounting company created in March 2022 in Israel and saying "we clearly don't know what we are doing but this phone seems ok"

@gabriel @lsn @RTP Be careful with free software though, it is a necessary but not a sufficient condition for privacy, as proved Ubuntu or Audacity in the past.

@gabriel @getimiskon @hazlin Public IPs are like public DNS, they are physically and administratively centralized endpoints owned by a handful of companies which decide how it should work for everyone. But at first, they are just network conventions, so it is totally possible to create parallel registries that solve the server requests differently (like with local networks). That said, I am more interested in solutions with distributed endpoints by design like #GNS.
