@lowqualityfacts And yet, folks sells sea shells at the seashore. And people (and by people I mean me) buy them. We went NUTS at Shell World in the Florida Keys. THE KEYS were you can see the ocean on either side and there are beaches for miles.

Artists love when you buy our stuff (😜 ) But you can still support artists for FREE. Every little bit helps. Even if you are not a position to buy maybe your actions will bring it to the attention of someone who can. Or when you ARE in a position, you will think of the artist you helped.

The story of the quilt. I started this quilt in September 2020. I was prepping to do sew a Jelly Roll day on September 19 when new broke that RBG died. All my plans changed &I felt I HAD to do this quilt. Because I knew what would happen to her seat.So I finished the quilt on September 19. But it sat there. I couldn't decide how to quilt it. Finally this year I realized the uplifted hands would be the perfect quilt motif.I quilted using rainbow thread. Then used rainbow binding.

@SecularJeffrey Following up on this with some more effect of student loan payments on the economy.There are approximately 43 million student loan borrowers. Yes that's milliion with an m. The average monthly payment is $299 which seems LOW. But it probably includes those whose "payments" are zero due to IBR. But let's go with that number.That means every single month $12,857,000,00 is not circulating in the economy. 12 BILLION with a b dollars. Every single month.

@historianess @kgehred with ethnonyms, how does one handle that? I grew up with Chippewa but apparently Ojibwe is the Indigenous name. Go with the Indigenous spelling?
