@grammargirl Based on my quick search, "Valley" is regarded as a formalized title of a place and is capitalized as such. But I find no evidence of “Valley Girl” as a formalized title for a person. Thus, "Valley girl" seems most appropriate to me.

@grammargirl I know I've used the word in exactly that way, but technically wouldn't it be “quotation" in the same sense that I don't like the phrase, "Send me an invite” when it should be "Send me an invitation.”

@grammargirl I’d be thrilled for that. If you want the extra info to go with it, I add more semi regularly (added one just moments ago) and with only MAYBE a half dozen exceptions, all shots were either snapped by me (most) or submitted by personal acquaintances and family.

@grammargirl Same problem with Facebook marketplace. Dealing with all the fake engagement, scams, and people looking for an unrealistic price are just way too rampant.

@grammargirl You're not alone. I am constantly writing down little bits of data and leaving them on my desk, only to return a few days later and wonder what in the world it was about. I'm looking at one right now where I wrote:4.85 → 9.551.98I assume I was doing some sort of print measurement conversion but haven't a clue what it's associated with.

@grammargirl I'm sure I'll normally stay with lorem ipsum only because InDesign auto-generates an exact length needed right in the app.But I have someone specifically in mind that I use dummy text when starting their projects who's a bit older and sometimes forgets that I use it and asks me why I'm sending her a layout with another language. She’s gonna cackle when she sees this new dummy text!

I don't expect there to be a way to to this, but in case I'm wrong…I *know* fully well the book maker originally from #iPhoto is not a thing any more. The Photos app in macOS 10.14 can still open a book project, but I can't remember if it will let me edit/continue a project. I'm sure I can't in newer versions of macOS.Knowing full well Apple won't print books, does *any* means exist on newer Macs and newer OSes to continue creating a book project, even if only to export a finished PDF?

@gedeonm I feel strongly that replicators would do the most good for current real world problems.Transporters? Just convenience.Holodecks? Entertainment.Warp? Fun, but meh.Replicators? Provide needed things that are otherwise difficult to obtain. Particularly food. Sign me up.
