@briankrebs EBT fraud is out of control. Episode 789 of "This American Life" explored this with an actual victim and how it was impossible to get the funds restored.Biden's new rule is only good for a couple of years and isn't retroactive.

@jeffjarvis Doesn't the NYT subscription allow you to link to an article that nonsubscribers can view? @Teri_Kanefield does this very frequently. She mentions that her NYT subscription allows this.

@LinusTech From May 2001 - My Dell Pentium 200. Connected to the infamous NEC Multisync 3, and a SCSI flatbed scanner. I also had a SCSI HP 4mm DAT tape drive for backups. All running on Win 2000 Pro 👍

@MishaalRahman From what I've read, this is where the Motorola Razr+ does a much better job. I would love to see something like an email app forced to the outer display using something like the good lock apps.So far I haven't seen this in the demos

@MishaalRahman @kaush Speaking of Android 14...I've been checking for a system update several times a day on my Pixel 7 and still nothing. Android 14 was supposedly released on the 4th. Do you know if Google slowed or halted this update?

@clive @WIRED Of course if these phones still had user replaceable batteries like they used to, this wouldn't even be an issue. We could enjoy the full capacity of the battery and then at some point just easily pop in a new replacement.
