@ademalsasa we like Cryptpad a lot (❤️ to the devs @cryptpad) and #diva uses it again and again in #agplv3 related and scientific research projects. Great that you toot about it. 👍😁

@xpil b) is the way to go - if you are motivated to take quite some workload as admin. Dovecot (IMAP) and an smtpd is needed. You also need an external dns server (for mx entries, dmarc and friends). I did it for many, many years and I learned a lot. It was worth it. Otherwise you could pick a hoster in a neutral and privacy-friendly country, like Switzerland. I use https://www.metanet.ch/hosting/web hosting since many years. They are around 8$ per month for domain, email accounts and storage space.

@sexybiggetje ouch - you must use ms teams in your daily life? You have my full empathy. Now I know again how privileged I am - and I am grateful every single minute that my life is 100% teams, zoom and facetime free - quality of life increases significantly. 🤓
