while we're waiting, i'll mention a few fun tidbits:- this is currently the oldest working computer in my collection! it's also my only x32-only machine, and by extention, my only pentium 4 machine- this is my only computer with printer and serial ports- the computer came with at least 256mb of ram preinstalled, and i know this because the 256mb stick had a "replace with compaq spare" sticker on it- did i mention it has an odd configuration of 512mb+256mb of ram, because it was upgraded at some point of its lifespanmost importantly.it has AN IR BLASTERLITERALLY IT HAS AN IR BLASTERidk what i'll use it for but INFRARED TECHNOLOGY

also, i'm quite sure there's a floppy-equipped version of this laptop. there's an empty slot only accessible on the inside of the computer with a weird, relatively small connector, blocked off from the outside by a plastic dud, and i think that might be the floppy drivefun fact: i do not own a single floppy disk reader, but i do own a single floppy disk (and found about 5 more on the attic with Some Business Data on them, but i didn't take them downstairs because i didn't need them for anything, besides i don't have a way to read them)

the floppy disk is some kind of driver disk for a wireless mouse. i remember i tried it the other day on my uncle's old computer and it just said it was x64. why would an x64 driver be on a floppy disk out of all places? the world may never know

ok, so today i decided to install windows xp alongside win7. unfortunately, partedmagic decided that the drive had a broken gpt partition table (which would make sense as this sd card was used by a win10 on arm install) so i had to wipe it.the new plan is to install windows xp and linux

@RafiX technically there's the main server (unused. i basically built everything there myself without anyone noticing) and the stream world (only accessible if an admin is online and is willing to tp you there)
