in my lifetime I've seen a super power fucking loose the plot and go to war for what 20 years now and the protests against that war, the occupy movement, the womens march, the Ferguson,2011 and 2017 london uprisings haven't changed a thing :( the BLM might not either :(

A problem with paying "platforms" for content, like Spotify or Netflix, is that they get a cut and often spend it on promoting content that's dangerous like Joe Rogan or Dave Chappelle. Paying Spotify is supporting anti vax anti science, paying Netflix is supporting transphobia.

Imagine what we could do with a UBI & guaranteed housing, it's not just quality of life or letting artists create without profit motive, it's enabling a shitload of charities to either not be needed or run without justifying themselves to the govt for funding. It's real freedom
