@Linux I have a Leonovo P43s with dual boot Win10 and Fully LUKS encrypted Debian 10. I can post my experience, but I can't seem to be able to create a new page for this product.

@brandon I don't have intense anxiety but cold showers helps me to calm down, have a better focus, have better (amazing) nights and has other health benefit. I've read that it helped people with anxiety too. WIm Hof talks a lot about it if you want to look it up. He's kinda eccentric and weird tho :). Good luck !

Interessting article. It's actually very hard to separate things in our brain if we do them at the same place. Ideally we should have a separate place for working, eating, sleeping, leisure, etc. Now that might not be possible. There are things that can help tough like a strict schedule, a different desktop environment, a special lamp that you turn on only when you work, using another computer, another desk, etc... Good luck ! @mike

@mike I've heard only good things about https://mullvad.net/en/ . It will probably be my next one when my current subscription end. Also considering ProtonVPN.

@fatboy It's funny how these CEO are regularly presented as geniuses everywhere and yet they don't seem to be able to recall major facts about their own companies.

It's hard to protect against fingerprinting. This might help :- using a popular browser/resolution/windows size- disabling webgl / javascript / webRTC- not having too many addon- using a vpnAnd well, things you do to evade fingerprinting might actually be worse as you will stand out more from the norm. The Tor Browser implemented many things to help with that, it might be something to check. I think the most effective way is a dedicated VM that is tailored to browse the web.@Krypton

I just installed my first nginx server this morning and I followed the Linode article posted by @celia and got a basic web server working pretty fast. Now I'll have to dig deeper to harden the security and understand how this all work, but the basic was easy to set up.@bumbervevo

Things I can think of : - Is your server block configuration correct ? Under /etc/nginx/sites-availables/ ? - Did you set the symlink from sites-available to site-enabled ?- Can you confirm (via logs ) that incoming connections to port 443 aren't dropped ?- Is there anything else like fail2ban or modsecurity that could block the access ?@bumbervevo

@jordan31 Wasn't it because of Bitlocker? I had to do this a month ago, from windows I had to disable bitlocker, then shrink the win partition and then I was able to install debian on the free space.

@brandon it's like asking for your mother's maiden name or your birthday as a security question...and yet it happens so often
