@shapr 100%I was a large part of why we started using Black to format Salt's codebase a while ago. Before that every PR had like 7 "lint" commits 🙃

@me @inference it depends on your definition of "work"If zero Covid, then I'd agree, but all the front line accounts I'm seeing is that vaccinations tremendously help what happens to you if you actually get Covid.But *waves at New York times square* all of that?That does not help.

@wolf480pl @fribbledom but wait, there's more!You can write decentralized apps that don't run on your computer or my computer or the cloud computers but they run on the Blockchain and store their data on the Blockchain.Ya know, in case you want less computing power. That burns way more fossil fuels.

@r000t here's the part about overdrive that I find mind bogglingly stupid.They rent digital copies to the library at similar cost to physical books.So if a book cost $5 and averaged 6 months before patrons destroyed it, they would have to pay overdrive the same $5 every 6 months.It's like... Anti technology

@wolf480pl @pseudoriemann I grew up having both 5" and 3.5" floppies, thinking the 3.5" were hard disks for exactly this reason. I think I was a teen before I learned I was wrong?
