Measuring One's Carbon FootprintAccording to Greta Thunberg's new book, The Climate Book, "to stay in line with international climate targets we need to get our individual per capita emissions down to somewhere around 1 ton of carbon dioxide per year." So how do we measure how much carbon dioxide we're emitting right now?The EPA has developed a handy website to not only estimate one's current Carbon Footprint but to find ways to reduce it.I calculated our household's annual footprint at 6 tons per person - so we have a way to go, but by learning more about it and changing some of our behaviors I'm confident we can make improvements.Check it out. Here's the link:https://www3.epa.gov/carbon-footprint-calculator/

Watched a documentary on ants the other day. Ants show us what can be accomplished when we are united and work together. We know what we get when we're divided - yahoo's like Trump, Tucker and DeSantis who prey on what can be fairly characterized as a weakness within our electorate. These folks aren't leaders, they're scavengers.

@TonyStark The GOP does have a policy position after all. It's called, "Let's just give more money to the rich.""Trickle-Down Economics" is one of the most blatant examples. It's clearly just about giving more money to the rich, yet they were still able to sell it to voters.

@scuba_nut53 @TonyStark The Republican "fiscal responsibility" talk is complete myth; only to be used when it suits them.Let's face it. Both parties want to spend money with the exception perhaps of Republicans wanting to send more money back to the rich in tax cuts.Biden's for the plus $400k crowd which is OK with me; the GOP's for the rest of us - already struggling to make ends meet - don't like it.
