@chromedevice @kevinctofel @lindsaykwardell That's a good point! Although with the #Pixel phone line gaining steam I hope they will revisit the #Pixelbook line. It seems silly not to. After all, the first Pixel was a #Chromebook.

Look what I found on #ChromeOS #Beta 109! There is a flag that lets you use the #terminal to mount an #SFTP from any system you can #SSH into. You can also run a SFTP command line if that's your jam. I'm currently using it to download #FLAC files I've bought to my #Chromebook and then upload them to my #Plex #server! Before I had to use an alternate file manager to do this. Love it!Enable the flag: chrome://flags/#terminal-sftp#selfhosted #mediaServer #music #sysadmin

@ondra Yeah I've been hoping #Google would add this feature ever since the new Terminal app was released. It seemed weird to have to use a separate extension for #SFTP

I wish more people would fight for #Podcasting the same way people are fighting for the #Fediverse. #Meta, #Tumblr, et al, are saying that they're joining the Fediverse (I'll believe it when I see it) and everyone is trying to figure out how best to deal with that.Meanwhile, #Spotify and #YouTube have already #EEE #Podcasts by adding music podcasts that don't sync to #RSS feeds and not providing #VideoPodcasts with RSS feeds at all. No one is batting an eyelash about that!#rant
