Lots of cool home brew stuff lately in the CoCo world. And now its spreading to the Dragon side! A Dragon 64 from scratch. And the person even published the files needed to 3D print the case and key caps :) https://github.com/danwerner21/Dragon64

@cstanhope @EdS Cool write up!I used the files from Jeff Tranter's github (https://github.com/jefftranter/6809/tree/master/sbc) to get some PCB's made. Gathering the parts for it now. Very cool to see another basic ported to this board! Are you able to share the BBC rom image you used?

@Ricardus Could always tune them in on the radio. WCBS 880 plays the mets games last I knew. 880 streams on the internet too.

My coco running lots of new hardware now. Membrane keyboard replaced with a PCB that uses real switches. The 2 custom IC chips replaced with open source daughter boards.

@ParadeGrotesque I use telnet still for SDF. And the "wifi modems" that use Zimodem firmware still use it. Hopefully #netbsd devs just patch telnetd rather then remove it like openbsd did.

I thought for #septandy i would dig out my model 4 from storage and get it working. I remember there being a problem with the keyboard. Well I guess I already did that. The keyboard works and it looks like I swapped the broken key with the 2nd enter. And there where 2 cpm floppy’s in the drives that work fine. Maybe I should start a project so I can keep this stuff organized lol

@Ricardus With the buttset check for your dial tone on each on of these bolts circled in red. It looks like Tip and Ring are going across horizontal down the DMARC. Also on the block on the left might there be bridging clips missing? (Circled in yellow) Check for dialtone where I circled in red there on that block.

@Ricardus >So some pair of contacts show 50 voltsThey might be ground start lines. Or maybe your phonco doesn't kill battery voltage for out of service lines.

@Ricardus that thing with the nuts on it is the telephone company's DMARC. It looks like there are 18 pairs there. Check them all for dial tone and if you find dialtone call your cellphone to see if its your numberThe best bet would be to have them come out and tag your pair. There might be other customers on there in the building so I wouldn't mess around to much there. That block is their property and responsibility. Let them locate/tag your line would be the "correct" way.
