I want a new social media, this one got too many furries and what not. Any suggestions? When does Truth Social come out?Or can we just bring back MySpace, that was a good one before it’s decline.

@daniel I don’t mind echo chambers as it’s useful and blown out of proportion. Not to mention living out side of a echo chamber has its own negative side affects on ones mentality. Either way both have positive and negatives I just choose to move back into one so I’m not always bombarded with crap that irks me and ruins my social media experience.I’m looking for a more conservative foss echo chamber and maker like community. @Meiosismb @jazzilla well that part does suck and I don’t necessarily agree with it but it was known before joining. I thought it might have been related to people confusing memorial and Veterans Day.

Not sure what happened but my pleroma instance just got nuked. Like, I only changed the instance avatar, hit save, and now the server doesn't even have the pleroma bin in the bin dir...wth technology...

@ericbuijs database and all was still there so I simply downloaded a newer version of pleroma and installed it to default location. Now everything is up and going again.

@daniel @atyh it’s not really meant to compete with http. It’s just a very light and simple protocol that allows for creativity from client writers. I’d also say the main focus is the content, your words. Another cool fact is this protocol could be run on older devices as long as it can handle ssl or tls.
