@meeper @GNUxeava They replaced ifconfig with iptools because iptools was coupled with the kernel, so….I think the BSDs have the better idea about being a cohesive OS, but I’m biased.

@alilly This is why I say we should give up on HTML as a GUI formatting language and switch to a true typesetting language, like everyone really wants.Make HTML the input language, and PS, LaTeX, or something else for output.@alcinnz @Seirdy

@feld Yeah, that’s why FreeBSD’s ports is so much nicer. There’s the core OS which is stable then everything else which people might want to run on the OS.
