       @dogjaw huh? Not Go or Rust? (I love the features of Rust, but see a steeper learning curve). Anyways for systems programming I encourage looking at both.

       @dogjaw it's been too long since I have been an individual contributor, but wouldn't the FFI work with C++ libraries? Is it that different from C?

       @pea repeatedly my answer has been "lack of ability easy collaboration with others". More time with elisp might let me solve that though.

       @pea that sounds like what I need. It is probably a feature I am unaware of. Ialready file jira tasks from emacs for team members, which is very efficient to do in a meeting while taking notes. I have yet to solve posting a subtree of meeting notes to confluence for reference by the distributed team though.

       @pea Thanks for telling me about this! I found the correct command in Spacemacs today, and it made beautiful ASCII text to paste into email and send to my team.
