@shacker @maddiefuzz @atomicpoet 1) I get free basic Hulu from my Spotify premium subscription.2) Many djs and artists have made public playlists on Spotify...a great way to discover new music outside the algorithm. Most Spotify generated playlists are trash ....but there are so many others....would hate loosing those or having to use the free ad riddled version.

@shacker @maddiefuzz @atomicpoet ahhhh.i thought the question was about general users not artists. Artists doing this probably because of reach I'm guessing since more users on Spotify and they do have a free tier.

That to me would be very presumptuous because wouldn't the following timeline be much more popular? On Xitter I would many times go to the quoted tweet to find context and that is no different here when quote linking. Not only are there dunking ad nauseum examples on Xitter but so many times arguments would take place via quote xeeting and it was a mess.

Also how does the platform promote AI and ghost artists? Are they used in their own playlists, is the algorithm promoting them? What is the platform's position wrt AI and ghost musicians?
