y'know, in the grand scheme of things, javascript isn't doing so bad in the "number of equality operators" department

all these new generation copy-on-write filesystems, and yet no one has been brave enough to name theirs simply "cowfs". then they could call the package containing its mkfs, fsck, etc. "cowtools"

for wireguard's macOS client, if your connection has a `DNS =` line, the specified DNS server appears to take precedence over the local connection's own DNS it got from DHCP or static network settings, so then i can't look up names on the local network, and wifi captive portals get messed up. it seems to do this even if i provide a lookup domain on the same line. is it possible to scope the DNS configuration so it only applies to the wireguard connection?

@vitaut maybe you should add some defines to make it easier for them to understand#define fn auto#define let const auto#define let_mut auto

@Forestofenchantment it runs off of two AA batteries. i haven't used it long enough to burn through the first set so i can't say for sure what the battery life is yet. it's only running a text editor generally, and only appears to update the screen at expected times when typing, bringing up the menus, etc.

given how much discourse "rust doesn't support targeting X old platform" generates, i'm a bit surprised there haven't been serious efforts to transpile rust to C. especially because either "crust" or "rustic" would both be perfect project names

@jrose yeah, i wonder if you could do a better job from the mir level. the semantics probably don't match 1:1 so you might have to do a lot of hedging in the C output, but it could nonetheless be better-than-nothing if you don't want to get your hands dirty writing an LLVM backend
