@jrballesteros05 I used it for about a decade. I finally got sick of having to manually download and compile a dozen dependencies in order to install anything (which also typically had to be compiled from scratch).Side note: shout out to slackbuilds.org who makes this process a lot less painful (assuming they're still around... it's been a while)

@kev Here's the way I see it.Like both you and the Gemini developer point out, Gemini doesn't replace the web, but here's what it *does* do:When I visit a Gemini capsule/site, I know that it *can't* use JavaScript to track me. A lot of the content that I'm interested in doesn't require all the added bloat of the modern web.Yes, I can disable JavaScript and so forth, but that breaks most sites. Gemini gives me a simple experience where I don't have to deal with any of that.

@helpers I updated my OS from Debian 11 to 12 (finally) and when I did, apache2 broke. I've got it reinstalled, but I'm 99% certain it's missing required modules. (see: https://social.jlamothe.net for the error I'm encountering). Is anyone able to help me hunt down which modules I'm still missing?
