@fiore @coolbean i meant that US, UK, AU, DE etc. are read as strings but NO is read as false, hence true being not norway

@coolbean i've also noticed that a lot of neovim plugins are trying to turn vim into an ide by blindly copying features of gui ide's and that kinda sucksnvim the editor is great, nvim the philosophy tho@fiore

@BrodieOnLinux bugsKDE on Wayland takes twice more time to load and lags constantly on my computer (core i7, rx 580, 16 gb ram, nvme; the problem isn't in hardware)Same with Chromium, the app that I use the most on my system since I do webdev. Same with Firefox, which is even slower on Wayland and has trouble playing videos without tearing. Audio output lags sometimes, which isn't that often, but it's never happened on x11; and it doesn't recognize my HDMI audio output sometimesLMMS Nightly and MuseScore Studio crash way more on Hyprland and KDE Wayland, and combined with audio lag, that makes writing music a painI'm sure all those problems could be fixed with a bit of tinkering and bug reports, but i'm lazy, just like many other people. The most common reason for not switching from x11 is that it already works. It's the same reason why people don't switch to nvim, and the same reason why a very small amount of people is rewriting things in rust

@brettm in Russia, the bank doesn't get a percent anyway (afaik),the government is way more invasive so not paying tax is more difficult,and most don't care about the big brother that much (so what if they spy on me? I've got nothing to hide! do *you* have something to hide from the government???? what are you, a fascist?)so none of the points apply, and credit/debit cards win because of conveniencesberbank (the biggest bank in Russia) also has this thing where you can "pay with your face". the bank literally collects your biometric data and connects it to your bank account. not like they have all of your personal data and all sorts of ID anyway. not like its a huge security hole

i bricked my phone (again), but it's a different one this time, Tecno Spark Go 1 (unisoc t615)basically i did a stupid thing and removed the system_b partition instead of system_a, and now i cant flash anything to system, or even load into fastbooti have the stock rom from needrom, and the partitions.xml from spd_dump. is there a way to flash just the system without triggering anti-crack? thanks to everyone
