I actually played around with translating CPython (3.9+) awhile ago. Their new parser made it much easier though getting unicode to work was tough. It is extremely scrappy & incomplete but I actually now write my hobby programs in malay hehe.I don't even know what's the best way to share this... I'm thinking like a git patch on an official source code release or something

@xerz ish he didn't mention the colourism embedded in xiaomi's / other chinese brands' defaults. It's the single feature I hate the most in modern smartphones: censoring my own face by default and it's almost impossible to turn off.

@xerz Hold on, I just rewatched it too, is this not skin whitening? Maybe abit due to overexposure of light as I'm guessing from the background, but the end result still looks like skin whitening to me.

@alrad yeah i changed my mind already, after yesterday's discussion on Mastodon.
