@futurebird I think the universal white ceilings are because they brighten a room. A dark color might give a dungeon atmosphere. You could go yellow for a morning all the time feel.

@futurebird 150 students seems awfully high. Is that one class, or divided across a set of classes? The number I've seen most often is that 15 students is optimum class size, that decreasing class size has lower gains, and increasing has clear losses.

@futurebird I have friends in SF who do this regularly. It's commonly noted that hypothermia makes you dopey, and the most dangerous point is when you first begin warming up and cold blood from your extremities rushes to your core.

@futurebird I guess this was an advantage of punch cards for teachers. We had to take our deck down to the mainframe and put it in the queue to find out if it ran, then figure out why it didn't on our own. Maybe try having the students debug for themselves instead of begging for handholding.
