@clive Fun piece!I love riding clipped in, until I switch and then I love riding without ‘em. I love riding Bike A until I switch and then I love riding Bike B. I’ve come to realize that I love a “fresh feeling”. I think it’s the way it brings fresh attention to the experience of riding. So I just constantly switch things up.

Fifteen or more years ago, I took a side road, and wandered a bit in the economics of energy production. Ever since, I’ve watched this stuff out of the corner of my eye, as Permian Basin production in Texas and New Mexico shot up. https://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.php?id=56540
