Edit: Bad news, everyone! Walgreens says they're not covering Kaiser members. And I frankly do not want to pay $150 if Kaiser is going to actually be getting the doses in the next few weeks. Hey, fellow #Kaiser members: I have gotten all four of my Covid vaccines Not At Kaiser and I've never had to pay. I'm scheduled for the new shot tomorrow at Walgreens. Has anyone had it yet and are they charging you? I can afford it; it would just be annoying AF.

Can the President just stop making own goals with regard to this????? It is MADDENING. I don't think it's only political calculus, I think he genuinely believes this shit. But it's both morally horrendous *and* as far as I can tell terrible political calculus. Edit: and I say this as someone who is fighting like hell for his re-election.

Based on all the recs I watched KPop Demon Hunters, and I really liked it. It actually needed to be longer, not usually a problem in today's films 😂 So many interesting plot points and characters could have been explored. This was also my first major exposure to KPop, and I was reminded of the critiques I've read by Black listeners about the genre's often unacknowledged appropriation of Black culture.

The one disappointing aspect of the plot was that they seemed to be moving toward a more nuanced understanding that many or all of the demons were actually like Jinu, held captive by pain and shame, and then they were like 'nope never mind we'll just kill 'em all.'
