@lowqualityfacts Do not use this construction method in your pharaonic tomb.Stones may deflate as the helium leaks out:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bent_Pyramid#/media/File:Bent_Pyramid_曲折金字塔_-_panoramio.jpg or blow away in strong desert winds:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid_of_Djoser#/media/File:Saqqara_pyramid_ver_2.jpgIn fact, the ancient Egyptians themselves abandoned this technique when they learned it causes mummies to growl and moan in high, squeaky voices which are ineffective at frightening tomb robbers.

@lowqualityfacts Oh! So that's the conversation the neighbor's dogs have when another dog walks past."I won't eat my owner!""I won't either!""Bet you'd try to eat MY owner if you were here. But you're not! And I won't eat my owner for you!""Oh yeah? Well I wouldn't eat my owner for you, either!"@AutoVisionNews is absolutely right: we don't deserve dogs.

@lowqualityfacts Few realize that this is, in fact, a public safety provision, like being fined for J-walking.There is no similar fine for raising your voice at a swan. In such situations, most legislative bodies agree that evolution should simply take its course.

@lowqualityfacts I remember that! It was a watershed event in jump-starting both ethical and culinary debates. In fact, the ethical debates on chimera research continue to this day.The culinary ones lasted until the McRib came back.

@lowqualityfacts Wow, that gesture is so poetic in its futility! So if moth after moth flies into a flame, we know the flame did something especially dishonorable? In that case, I think we owe it to the moths to extinguish the dishonorable flame and light a new one. For great honor.

@lowqualityfacts I loved that episode where they all tried to vote themselves off the island, but it was a tie vote so nobody won, and then they tried to vote each other off the island but that got all mixed up, so they wound up accidentally voting the producer off and everyone else was still stick there.

@lowqualityfacts This makes so much sense! I often wondered how bees would defend themselves against small, fast-moving insects trying to steal their honey. Add a frog to the mix and you get a nigh-unstoppable combo.

Putting up the Ant Signal! (It's like the Bat Signal but, well, you know...) Can anyone identify the species? It was at a nature preserve in San Diego county. The ants were brown, about 7mm long, and fast-moving. @futurebird? You may be my only hope!#ant #SanDiego

@futurebird Another approach: use real real plants. Pull from the iNaturalist dataset. Scan plants to identify them and add them to your virtual goody box to assemble food or medicine. At higher levels, you get a higher score for quickly and accurately scanning the plants you need with fewer misses. It would teach plant identification, traditional uses, spotting them, remembering their locations, an appreciation of your environment, and maybe urban foraging.

@futurebird @IngaLovinde If we have enough technology to move planets, maybe we should consider a different option: instead of changing Venus to fit us, change ourselves to fit Venus. I don't know what that would look like, but it seems like it'd be much more energy efficient.
