#Fediverse thoughtsThese graphs from #Fedidb suggest that the ecosystem is not thriving.A 9.7% user retention rate is concerning.I also suspect that the MAU numbers might be artificially high, as they may not differentiate between real users and bots.

@selea We run our own instance of PostalServer for the transactional email needs of Mastodon.It's been great but maintenance can be a real pain. Luckily we've got a great team and some top notch main system admins.We also host for several other orgs as a courtesy and have been thinking about expanding that service.If anyone is interested and needs transactional email hosting please reach out.
