@foone Yeah. That's supposedly the key to the whole "lucid dreaming" thing. I don't know how much I really believe in it, but I did play with that as a kid to get out of nightmares.

@foone 25 year old perl code. Is there anyone who can still say what it does and why?

@foone Now see, I thought the OSI model was supposed to explain how things were organized in a network stack that passed things from layer to layer. This just sounds like sexual ambiguity / frustration and Taco Bell cravings.

@foone It's got a lot more logical consistency, aside from the whitespace thing.

@ai6yr I'm not sure I've seen a more appropriate use of Home Depot shopping carts.

@ai6yr Yeah. The waymo is also not going to gun it through a red light if there are people approaching from all 4 corners of the street in a 90's style car jacking attempt, even if it is safe to do so at the moment.(edge case... corner case?)

@ai6yr Is "Keephumansintheloop" a hashtag? (It would certainly be an ugly hashtag.) Help, I don't do marketing.

@foone Didn't we already do the census in this state a few years ago? Why are we doing it again? (Quasi rhetorical.)

@futurebird I never realized cats had some sort of chiral instinct. Somehow it makes sense though.

@weirdestate This house gives me indigestion. Also, why does a house need 13 bathrooms??? I think you answered your own question.

@foone I still remember the July 27, 1993 release as the one that got me plowing headlong into BSD based operating systems.

@ai6yr @ascentale @trainguyrom @bikenite Kitty litter buckets can usually be found by making friends with cat people.I'm just going to randomly quote this out of context and see what ensues.

@tomjennings @paul_ipv6 @ai6yr My father worked at the geological surveyThat's awesome. As a kid, I used to go with my father to the USGS office in Palo Alto to pick up maps before his hiking trips. Rows and rows of cubbies with rolled up topographical maps. It had a distinctly "library" feel to it back then.

@futurebird @catsalad Do bone piles in mountain lion dens count? (Not sure if hoarding, or just not big on cleaning up.)
