@esoterica I think you're misunderstanding some of the reasons why people use it. It's not a matter of if I can commit myself to not being on Twitter as I already have deleted my account and am here full-time. For me, it's about still getting notifications on things that matter to me that won't be moving over to Mastodon any time soon. Stuff like bus and metro outages, weather alerts from the weather service, electrical outages.

Exciting times for the #montrealcanadiens. I think my favorite thing about everything going on is that we'll be able to watch behind the scenes when new episodes of The Rebuild show comes out. Can't wait to see what was going on behind the pickup of Noah Dobson.#hockey

@vavency I have a Lunar Lake laptop, Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360. It mostly works just fine with Linux though better results come with newer kernels. The only issue I am currently having is with the speakers just not outputting audio (though it works with everything else just fine). Can't say I've tested the webcam, microphone or fingerprint reader though.Best thing about it is the crazy battery life you get on Lunar Lake combined with Linux just plain using less resources, etc...
