@mk @rikefranke I would agree, as I lived in Munich for 3.5 years and never met any Germans who would support that. They don’t even really like their own Saxony region (because it’s Slavic). My wife is Slovak and was routinely talked down to for being such.

@killyourfm that was the year I graduated high school. Lollapalooza festivals also kicked off around that time. We thought it was “our ‘60s” and failed to make any real difference just as our parents failed before us.

@YesBut I migrated to Eastern Europe (which they now like to call Central) in 2006. Since that time I have visited a lot of cafes, and I have never seen anything like what this (obvious propaganda) portrays.

My least favorite aspect of social media is when someone claims something that doesn’t reflect any sort of reality (that you are aware of), and so you naturally ask for some sort of evidence for said claim, hoping to learn something, but then they have a meltdown and block you.
