I've been using Zotero for years. It has all these tools that I rarely use: notes, tags, related etc.Does anyone have good resources (or just personal suggestions) on how to get more out of Zotero?

@onan I now have my own Friendica instance. Dreading the moment when I run into technical problems.

Wired has an interesting article on the practicalities of how history is made on Wikipedia.https://www.wired.com/story/one-womans-mission-to-rewrite-nazi-history-wikipedia/

Regular reminder that polls on fediverse have huge sampling errors and probably will tell you more about the fediverse, the poll and your network than whatever you're polling about.

@CarlCravens @platypus They have! But it confusingly depends on what OS you're working on. I'm guessing in this case they noticed that they we're not following the design guidelines and started following them.

Oh, didn't realise automated deletions were added to Mastodon. Great that we don't have to rely on external services anymore.

My partner is a web developer and whenever she sees something I've done in HTML or CSS she suffers because real developers haven't used those patterns in decades anymore.

@rysiek Tried to get a delivery from them recently. They agreed on delivery times on three different times, didn't deliver during those times and instead tried to deliver twice during some other time.

@kensanata I somehow thought that the Dewey system was developed by John Dewey, because some people are just weirdly profilic. But of course it's some other Dewey.

@cosullivan I don't think this question is framed in a manner that makes it possible to answer it in a constructive manner.

@entreprecariat This was the paragraph I was hoping to see:"Undoing the atmospheric damage caused by centuries of unchecked industrialization was never going to be easy. Encouraging the uptake of low-emission vehicles, aggressive levies on antiquated industrial practices, investment in public transport infrastructure, citywide reengineering, and rapidly evolving tech innovation will all help, but why bother when a personal air-filtration device can keep you healthy?"
