       @joshuafoust Well, he clarified it was opt-in and people knew beforehand about the machine being involved. However, this still raises so many questions about ethics. He has academic background - how it didn't occur to him that this kind of experiment has serious research ethics problems? Especially in a so tightly regulated field like medicine?!

       @joshuafoust That guy and his company are literally asking to be sued into oblivion if someone gets hurt and it will get connected to the health advice dished out by the robot, regardless of the human supervision.

       @johnmacintosh I have used one of these, still with a serial port interface, none of that USB junk. Very nice piece of hw. They are direct ancestors of the 3DConnexion SpaceMouse/SpaceNavigator line of devices.
