       @kev @Matter @utf8equalsX I agree with Kev. For me it’s about taking control, rather than who owns the infrastructure. I can put in place my own encryption if I choose to. I host at home and on VPS servers, but I call both ‘self hosting’.

       @JackieLibre I actually like Office. I’ve tried to use FOSS stuff, but for my use case it’s still a long way off being a reasonable replacement.To be fair, I can’t see Linux desktop ever being mainstream - so doubt there is reason enough for MS to do it.
