@curiousthinker Hopefully not before long the dust settles, they leave Twitter and Elon Musk in the dust, and they go build on Mastodon. Just in case it fails we'll build outside on the rest of the fediverse.Also I'm starting to use this account more. Followed you over here.

@alex I have a couple questions for #Soapbox and #Rebased:1. If I use Rebased on my server, can I continue to use Pleroma-FE as my primary frontend (or switch to another in the future)?2. @alex Since you're the dev of #Rebased, we need your help.rojogato.com switched from Akkoma to Rebased as the backend, but is still using Akkoma-FE. @dave @cjd @alex #Soapbox is Mastodon's #1 competitor. Advanced users and Fediverse OGs might prefer #Pleroma :pleroma: or other software, but Soapbox+Rebased is easy to use. :soapbox:

@gabriel @jeff You just made the perfect post for me to demonstrate Soapbox's Content Spoiler! On the left is the post before opening it up, and on the right is the post after it's been opened up. The latter was taken on my own instance, which has Soapbox as an alternate frontend.The new sensitive spoiler is designed to be like an image spoiler, but it applies to the whole post, even without images, and it doesn't collapse. This type of spoiler is even being tried in the official Mastodon app. What do you think of it?
