@redwhitebluedude That was chilling to watch, but at the same time it is heartening to see law enforcement doing their job in a diligent manner. So many stories we read nowadays reflect law enforcement standing down or looking the other way.

@watch4thedrop Morgan Luttrell has good name recognition due to his "Lone Survivor" fame (as well as many Fox News appearances), and I believe he may well get a clean Trump endorsement if he makes it through the primary. I don't know the others and I would tend to feel positive about Luttrell.

@darulharb I just listened to the hostage-taker’s rant that was captured via the synagogue’s Zoom feed which continued streaming for a while after the hostage situation started. If that is an “English accent,” I am a monkey’s uncle. Basically it’s another way of saying “comrade.”

@masterblaster My reasons why DeSantis should not run against Trump if Trump decides to run in 2024: (1) DeSantis is much younger than Trump; (2) his political star is rising and he's building a nice resume in Florida; (3) his chances at reelection in Florida and a future run for the White House will be greatly enhanced by Trump's endorsement. (4) Trump indeed helped him become governor of Florida.

@masterblaster Sorry was out of pocket for a few hours, but I agree re the NYT article. I should have mentioned that I took the whole story with a large grain of salt. Their agenda is pretty obvious - they’d like nothing better than a Trump/DeSantis feud and they’re trying to conjure one up.
