I'm so tired of clickbait and attention seeking big mouth trendies criticising 3 hour movie lengths. If the story and pacing are fine there's nothing wrong with it so there's no need to hang their ego on movie length. Length and perceived length are a thing too and not unrelated to immersion. Yes, shorter movies can feel longer too.This would make for a more educational and enjoyable discussion rather than edgy clickbait algorithmic chasing rants. Like, who needs the emotional labour?

Sunak's family are friends with Modi and do business with Russia.Attacking trans rights plays to the Kremlin's destablisation campaign.Brexit weakens EU and NATO.Something certainly smells.

Fresh install of #Linux Mint with FDE enabled. Not using TPM is a royal pain.This time not putting Timeshift in the boot directly like a clever clogs. Bad defaults...Creating an automount RAM disk barfed on nodiratime. No idea why so swapped to noatime instead. It seems to work...Cue comments about "Noobs" and "Wah wah it's a server OS wah wah." Jog on.

On #Linux Mint 21.2 for some reason webcam viewer "Cheese" refused to work. A little digging suggested an issue with a dependency so I reinstalled using the Flatpak version and it worked. I have no idea why and its annoying having to download a fat Flatpak.I had a similar problem with GIMP. A set of plugins refused to load but the Flatpak version of both worked.Linux issues with system integrity, dependencies and updates, and ease of use can be a pest. Nothing critical but avoidably rough.

@TransitBiker There's a good chance Mint will go well with your Lenovo. It's like Thinkpads are almost custom made for Linux Mint. Thinkpads tend to work well with most Linux. Works well on my decade old Thinkpad T520's.I eased the pain by switching over to cross platform apps and trialing for a year. MS playing funny with adware and Windows 11 tipped things. I called their bluff and went 100% Linux Mint in a week. Not going back.
