@Consuela @comrade_lecter @Animal_Sys But I would say that the MAPs on pawoo is only a minority.If you would count it as a part of the pediverse, pawoo would make up 90%+ of it (pawoo has nearly 40k of users, while even NNIA has only 300).

These guys are called helicopter parents, as they always hover over their children. This behavior is bad, I agree. But parenthood in general is not.

@todayilearned Sounds like the educational system is broken. Because if this stat is true, there must even be people that are more intelligent than average (thus, having an IQ > 100) that can read terribly.

Question to the NNIA-Administration: @comrade_lecter: Why does NNIA block (at least parts of) the TOR-Network? When I access NNIA over the TOR-network, I get 403 Error-Codes for some content, but not all. Most of it actually works. Why do you do that?

Speech (in general) is an utterly flawed transfer protocol. When transferring information via speech, you have to do lossy compression. Unfortunately, you often don't know in advance which things you loose. Worse, you don't know if you transfer what you want to transfer or if the other person understands what you want to transfer. Another problem is that there are thousands or more different subprotocols known as language, which are mostly incompatible, despite parts being often related.What I want: A universal standard to transfer information from one living being to another, irrespective of language, culture or (dis-)abilities. A standard that is based on the transfer of units of "thought". They can be images, feelings, sounds or whatever.Then, we can truly understand each other. If we fundamentally understand each other, the fight against discrimination would be easier, prejudices could be broken down.
