@Miaourt are registrations on R3 still open for those who ask or straight up closed? I wouldn't mind an account there. After so many years on this instance the public timeline/known network is becoming a bit too noisy with the kind of people I don't care about and don't want to associate with.

Pog. I'm at hellpie@raru.re now too. This account will stay as long as Quad allows me to stay, I just wanted to check out other sides of other ponds. If anything requires heavy shitposting, this will still be the place for me to do that.

Got myself a Roborock S7 vMax Ultra, the one with obstacle recognition and the fancy dock that empties dirty mop water. It surpassed my expectations so far and I'm pretty sure I'll love it even more as time goes on since I'm used to walking around barefoot so having floors mopped daily is pretty much a necessity.

@pantsu I'm keeping it on a guest network under strict access policies for both time and bandwidth and it's doing incredibly well for that, the way I understood it is it will work perfectly fine for everything except scheduling if you fully remove wifi. Valetudo unfortunately doesn't work with the dock, the mopping is pretty shit and the S7 base model is barely supported through very unofficial hackery of the already very unofficial valetudo project. I could likely get it all working dock included I just don't care to waste time on a hobby project when I can solve every issue I have with it by just locking it out of the world except for the few minutes it needs to kick off the schedules.

@pants i live alone and wfh so i can just start it when i go out for my daily walk, takes one hour to vacuum and mop, 1h45m if i do the double pass max+ and intense mopping, by the time i'm back everything is clean and mopped, the doormat is somewhere else, the robot is stuck in the bathroom (probably should build a ramp for it) and all is well. The doormat I should probably fix by using the rubbery grip thing ikea sells but i'm just lazy.

@pantsu it's not a matter of finding the way back to the dock, it just can't lift itself over the wooden bit at the door, entering is hard by doable, but inside the bathroom the floor is extremely sloped so even the bit touching the door is just out of the robot's height limit and it bumps into it no matter how it approaches the wooden bit

@pantsu unfortunately i don't have that, and the ikea furniture i have didn't come with any leftover pieces (which tbh it's good news) but yeah i'm aware, i'll probably use plastic rather than rubber since the shower is right next to it, idk why they decided to use wood when they built the apartment kind of a shit decision

This instance runs a version of Pleroma so old Tusker finally gave up on working at all. Timeline no longer loads. Profile no longer loads. Notifs stopped loading a while ago. Not even sure if posts still work, guess this is one way to find out.

@shadowfacts i'm not blaming it on tusker, weeaboo runs on a pleroma build that is several years old. Lacks support for quotes, new reactions and as you already know it predates the new hashtag api

I forgot how Mastodon works so I’m just testing if basic formatting for ~Markdown~ works and which tags do and don’t since Pleroma has way clearer settings for this and (as usual) Masto-dont.

Thanks to the cunts behind "Pleroma Disrespectful" I will have to completely redesign one of the features of Pleroma.network™ and move it from an ironic joke to a real feature. I never announced this because development is slow and it was meant to be a fun easter egg, but I wanted to add an "export blocklist" option so Mastodon users could keep joking about Pleroma being nazis. Turns out now there is an actual Pleroma fork that was made by nazis for nazis, has extremely harmful code for federation and is not complying with the AGPL either which means either they are 100% Natural Cunts or they are chinese, but either way they are not what either Pleroma or Mastodon users want and the code they edited is still harmful, so I plan to create a secondary API for Pleroma.network™ to list exclusively instances running the "Pleroma Disrespectful" fork and I will change the original idea for blocklist to provide an easy way to block exclusively those instances. #dev / #pleroma / #plrmnet

Well I guess this won't be a backup much longer seeing Weeaboo.space is gonna shut down. I've been using @hellpie as my main for a while already, I'll just move over fully to that one :)
