@CliffWade I don’t use it as my main social media but I’ll very occasionally check it to see if I have any missed messages. Mastodon has managed to replace most of what Twitter was to me. I’m still sad and angry about what Musk has done on the platform and to former employees. It’s been such a shitshow. I’m also sad that not everyone will move here, but maybe in time as things continue to decline we’ll get more people here. I know it’s quite popular here with the tech/dev community I follow.

@CliffWade @Talia_christine I could, but I’m not a fan of that. It’s hard to make sure you didn’t clip off too much or too little, and the resolution may end up not being as good.

@grammargirl Interesting! I’d probably think of it more as a noun, as the name of a feature. Something like: “Don’t forget to use Spell Check!” But I guess it’s common enough now to be used as a verb and compound word.
