@Xenophon @BowsacNoodle You make me feel so normal sometimes. I am blessed by having many fedi friends who believe wildly different things, but who still rely on Christ for their salvation. We are going to make it. Because God's Grace is more than enough.

@BowsacNoodle @Xenophon On paper, I'd rather my neighbor keep the two greatest commandments than to live against them, but it seems like death to require anything beyond faith for God's approval. However, I think God's Grace is enough to cover that, so I find myself, not always speaking up on such things.

@Xenophon @BowsacNoodle ahh, I think breaking this down into the different jurisdictions answers that. I believe I answered with 3 yes and a no.regressing the question back to a point, where the jurisdiction isn't specified, is to have a pointless discussion.

@BowsacNoodle @Xenophon I can appreciate that. I'm a big fan, of leading people into good things, and to lead them away from fires. How can someone who knowingly leads his neighbor into destruction be anything but an enemy to all?Saying things that like feels so right. Knowing and treating someone like your enemy... when they are you enemy is important. My personal experience is that, God has often rescued me from carrying the burden of what is right and what is wrong. Such burdens feel right, but they always draw me into pride. So, for myself, I only really feel comfortable teaching Grace. A careless faith in God, seems the most correct. Not once, has He ever let me stumble when I set aside the knowledge of good and evil, only relying on Him to keep me from falling. In fact, every time my life has gotten better. Now, if only I could more consistently decline those most righteous of burdens.

@Xenophon @Omega_Variant @BowsacNoodle @matty It is quite different. One of the reasons why he has to spend time talking about how his message isn't from men, nor by men. Is because he faced stiff opposition from the church built around the Apostles that walked with Jesus. It is the same message given to Peter, but we hear little of it from Peter, and mainly see him and Paul being bullied. After firmly rejecting the message from Paul, you see them scattered and killed. Part of me thinks Paul should have tried a different strategy, but I think they were simply unworthy at some point, and so Jesus cleared the board, and started a new path forward. When this message was partially revived in Luther's day, he wrote about how fiercely satan fought against the truth. He brings out a lot of parallels between things they were dealing with, and what Paul had to deal with. And, here we are at the end, where the message has been fully revealed. Of the public figures I'd say Joseph Price is the closest. But, I find he is only able to deliver on his revelation, about 1 or 2 out of every 20 or 40 sermons.

@scalar @rdr @SuperSnekFriend @YeetLibs I'm not exactly sure what qualifies as /r/science, but learning electricity has been a challenge. Udon's link helped quite a bit http://amasci.com/miscon/elect.htmlAnd, if you combine that with black and White training videos from times past, you can get a basic understanding of what is actually happening. But, looking at the material I've gathered in an aggregate fashion quickly reveals that there are out right lies and misdirection. The individual resources are laughably incomplete. An example, I stumbled across a video that illustrated inductance in a conduction material. The guy dropped a magnet through a copper pipe, and the magnet fell very slowly. A wonderfully simple experiment to demonstrate a foundational idea that the majority of electrical motors rely upon... but this is the first time I am seeing it. Why isn't this in any of the books I have?Another, I've got books on electrical motors, however, the diagrams and illustrations they show for specific designs, are incorrect. Reading through the relevant text in that area carefully, they usually indicate that they haven't shown something "because it doesn't matter." The problem is that, the omission was the defining feature of that design, what makes it different from the rest.Another, the refusal to admit that there are any generators that create DC internally. The line I see repeated over and over is "all generators create AC power internally." But, Faraday and Tesla both had working internal DC generators, you can even build one pretty easily. (we will leave aside that the version you encounter is miss direction) The fact that any version is available means this is a lie. If I didn't have multiple sources to aggregate, I'd never know. These last few months of study, really do feel like I am bypassing some intentional effort to prevent people from developing a correct and intuitive understanding of electricity.

@merchantHelios It kind of feels like, team games have universally gotten worse... because the people you play with are worse. When I started playing HoN and Dota2, you could play and experiment and have fun. But, by the time I stopped playing, people would report and flame you if you weren't following the exact meta for what ever character you were playing.

@minespatch Given that hospitals are the leading cause of death. If Alabama gets some old fashioned midwifes, this my actually save more babies in the long run. I laughed when they blamed the lack of abortions for doctors not coming to the area. Modern medicine is such a death cult. Anyone can learn to deliver a baby, and do a better job than some death cult doctor who wont even come to your area unless they can kill babies xD
