The current #ChatGPT craze shows a disturbing human trait of wanting to make processes less and less transparent, and a hope that a mystery black box will somehow do a better job than a human, with no regard of the downsides. I wish innovation would go into the direction of uplifting us as a species, not just make us lazy and ignorant.
