@dave @ChadF Yea I'm going try running my node on c-lightning for awhile but it's discouraging that most of the funding is coming for a spamming corp, or well. They are also into the "liquid" shitcoin which will probably fail. *sigh*

It's trivial to make a filter to weed them out (when reading them from the command line on my LND node) I'm sure Alby and friends will pick up the ball on that. Maybe filter anything below 10 sats (currently I'm using 3 sats as my cutoff). The overwhelming majority of them are 1 sat

@dave @mcintosh IRC allows anon users. I believe with XMPP they would need a xmpp account somewhere and most people don't have that so you would have to provide one. If you didn't want any anonymous users anyway then perhaps go with XMPP from the start, otherwise I think IRC is easier for you and your users.

@dave CNN: Amazon said it would cut 14,000 corporate staffers this year in a mass layoff aimed at readying the company for wide adoption of AI technology. The company noted that it would be hiring in key areas...So...14,000 staff. They have 1.5 _million_ workers, so like less than 1% and they are also hiring. So yea I agree this story is for the AI PR 🤠
